Revisit: Shoulder Mobility

Back in 2013 we talked about using a tennis ball to get a good trigger point massage on the backside of your shoulder or post scapula region.  While this is still a great starter massage tool I wanted to upgrade my Trainers Tips for those patients/athletes looking for a little more than a soft tennis ball massage.  The Tiger Ball Massage-on-a-rope is a great tool to use in getting those hard knots out of those stubborn shoulder muscles.  The ball is firm/dense enough to get excellent trigger point release and yet soft enough not to inflict pain.  The density is that of a lacrosse ball.  The design is simple and compact as to easily roll up and fit into any small bag thus making it a great tool to take anywhere you call your playing field.  I have had many of my overhead athletes sing loud praises for this small yet effective device for loosening up muscles/knots prior to competition.  tiger ball massager
